As a musician, I see the chessboard as music on the page with the pieces being the notes.

The pieces dance about the board in geometrical patterns as each player works through their movements and thinks deeply about creating a certain finale.There is definitely a special energy within chess and at the end of the journey it is always important to remember that ‘the game is greater than the player’
